Gerry was the Business Development Manager for Landmark Homes NZ for 4 years and in partnership with Steven, become a franchisee in 2014. He is an Accountant, (but don’t hold that against him!) as he also knows the importance of great personal customer service and keeping to the customer’s budget.
Steven has a great history of building and remodelling beautiful homes for satisfied customers in the Taupo region. He has extensive knowledge of the building industry, being both a Master Builder and Licensed Building Practitioner. Steven’s focus is on excellent workmanship and always going the extra mile for customers.
Maree has been self-employed for the past 12 years as an interior designer and colour consultant, specialising in soft furnishings. Maree believes that you never get a second chance to make that first impression, so service is incredibly important and she strives to give her clients a stress free experience.
Maree designed her own newly completed home and has a strong understanding of the design and build process. She has a passion for photography and in her spare time you will find her socialising with friends, family whether it be over coffee or out enjoying our outdoors.
I started in the building trade in Wellington as an Adult apprenticeship in 1983, and became a trade qualified Carpenter & Licensed Building Practitioner. I ran my own business in Wellington for 13 years before returning to Whakatane in 1996 to establish a building company in Whakatane and built everything from farm buildings, warehouses, shop fit outs to architectural homes. I joined Registered Master builders in 1997 and was President of the Local association for 3 years and in supporting roles prior and after.
I have won a total 18 House of the Year Awards over the years, with many Local Supreme and Gold Awards and a National title in 2006.
I have spent the last 6 years in Senior Project Management roles in Christchurch firstly helping with the earthquake repairs, then in Auckland as a Project Director for a Volume Building Company constructing prefabricated homes and then as a Construction Manager for a Design & Build Company.
