Two-Storey Plans to Maximise Space and Views
The Kano Design
This contemporary, striking, roomy and ultra-luxurious two-level design features the living area and master suite downstairs, and family bedrooms upstairs.
The Kano boasts a spectacular kitchen and well-appointed scullery, which will thrill even the most discerning entertainer. A spacious open-plan living opens to alfresco entertaining on two sides, a separate media room and generous master bedroom suite (with a luxurious ensuite and dressing room, to rival an elite hotel!) Family accommodation occupies the upper level, with a further three double bedrooms, study nook, and bathroom.
The Omokoroa Design
Another stunning showhome, the Omokoroa is inspired by the coastal feel of a Hamptons home – and is an entertainer’s dream.
With high-pitched ceilings every design feature both inside and out is accentuated to create a crisp, light, elegant look. With a long, wide open plan living, dining and kitchen area, the high pitch and sloping ceilings immediately make a statement. Step out through the floor to ceiling double sliding doors onto the covered portico, perfect for capturing those views.
The Ararimu Design
This two-level modern home features an open plan living, dining and kitchen upstairs, along with a guest powder room, and the master suite – so if you’ve got a beautiful view to capture, this plan might be for you!
Downstairs houses extra bedrooms, a bathroom, internal access to the garage and laundry, and plenty of storage under the stairs. Plus, a built-in lift-well futureproofs the house. Life will feel easy in this spacious family retreat.
Dual-Living Plans for Extra Accommodation Options
The Forte Design
With 5 bedrooms in total, the Forte design is two homes in one – a 3-bedroom home and a 2-bedroom adjoining unit, perfectly designed for extended family living, or for anyone wanting to make extra income from short-term or permanent rental.
The main dwelling features open plan living, three good sized bedrooms, a family bathroom plus a powder room and plenty of storage. The secondary adjacent unit has 2 spacious bedrooms and an open plan living area including the kitchen and dining area.
The Hukanui Design
This plan is a perfect, yet versatile family home for those that may wish to offer short-term rental accommodation for extra income, or house family.
The guest bedrooms are separated from the master suite by the centrally positioned open plan great room. This wing can be closed off from the main living area with paying guests having direct access to each bedroom from outside, and a central bathroom provides the amenities required for short-term guests.
The Octave Design
In this cleverly-designed home there are two fully self-contained houses under one roof – a 3 bedroom main home, and a 1 bedroom secondary unit.
The dwellings are separated by their garages – offering each home privacy and sound reduction. Each house has open plan areas for living, dining, kitchen, and internal access to the garage and laundry.
Great for Awkward, Narrow or Sloping Sites
The Awakeri Design
Perfect for narrow sections, this plan was designed with relaxed living in mind.
This contemporary 4-family bedroom home has a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining, with multiple access options to the outdoors for that iconic kiwi lifestyle – and a fabulous outdoor dining ‘room’ adjacent to the kitchen, with the master bedroom beyond it.
The Glendhu Design
A classic Central Otago pavilion style home, perfect for a long narrow site.
The Glendhu design has a compact footprint and is designed for family living. A spacious open plan great room incorporates kitchen, dining and living opening out to an alfresco dining area. The master suite features a large walk-in robe and ensuite, for a little bit of luxe, and 3 family bedrooms and bathroom complete the layout.
The Raumati Design
Sloping site? This is for you. This contemporary mono-pitch design is an ideal floor plan for taming an awkward site without compromising on style!
At the rear, seamless access from the open plan living and separate lounge opens to the outdoors, perfect for entertaining family and friends, or maximising any views. The master bedroom also enjoys this access to the outdoors. With its weatherboard cladding, this home will make a statement in any street.
Plans That Are Perfect for a Smaller Budget and Site
The Rococo Design
The stylish Rococo has ample storage and 3-bedrooms, making it a perfect family home – despite its smaller size.
A master suite and two bedrooms flank an open plan great room featuring kitchen, dining and living, and an office – ideal for work from home family members. Clad in both vertical and horizontal oblique weatherboard, with a brick feature cladding, this contemporary home will stand out in the best way!
The Tairua Design
A modern gable 3-bedroom home with spacious central open plan living, dining and kitchen – flanked by the master suite on one side, and the family bedrooms/ bathroom on the other for privacy.
The outdoors can be accessed via wide sliding stackers in the lounge – and is perfect for both relaxed family-living and entertaining guests. Stunning, small and chic!
The Mezzo Design
Perfect for urban living, the spacious open-plan living area in this modern home is at the rear creating a sense of privacy from the street.
The galley kitchen features a walk-in pantry and a computer nook separate from the living room to keep messy papers hidden – perfect for work from home families! Family or guest bedrooms can be shut off from the hallway creating a private ‘wing’.
The Rimutaka Design
This modern home in the ever-popular pavilion style, is perfect for urban and rural sites.
Open plan living and dining open out completely onto a large outdoor area, providing lovely entertaining and relaxation options outside. The kitchen has a spacious scullery adjoining it – and the master and guest or family bedrooms are separated from the living rooms, for privacy. A spacious and striking family home.
Showhomes for that something little *extra*
The Otakaro Design
Our current Christchurch showhome, the Otakaro plan bears all the hallmarks of a fantastic 3-bedroom family home. Its black steel and cedar framework, and impressive cubic look, is a real head-turner!
A high raking ceiling in the lounge creates a sense of space and airiness. Open plan kitchen, dining and living rooms have fantastic flow to the outdoors, and over height doors add to the roomy feel of this home.
