Chatting with Amanda Coster, it's strikingly clear that she's someone who's truly embedded herself within the industry. As the Christchurch & Canterbury New Home Consultant, she offers an unparalleled dedication to her craft.
Amanda's commitment to her clients is truly exceptional, always ensuring they feel heard and that their trust in her is well-placed. This dedication is one of the many reasons she was named Landmark Homes New Home Consultant of the Year in 2023, owing to her impressive record of successful new homes sold in the Christchurch and Canterbury region.
"I thoroughly enjoy taking my clients on a journey," says Amanda. "I love getting to know them on a personal level. I'll even inquire about the size of their pets, or if their kids are overseas, will they come to stay?” she adds. "When you truly understand what your client wants from their home, it becomes much easier to deliver it."
Building trust and maintaining open lines of communication are crucial aspects of Amanda’s role as a New Home Consultant.
"When speaking with clients, I take the time to listen deeply to the conversation," Amanda explains. "I want them to understand that I'm wholeheartedly invested in their home build and that we're collaborating as a team."
Going the extra mile for clients
For Amanda, going the extra mile is not just about excellent communication; it also involves having local knowledge, especially for clients who may not already be familiar with Christchurch or the Canterbury region.
"For clients from out of town who are seeking a section to Design and Build their Landmark Home, I personally drive around to scout for them. I take photos and videos of possible sections and share these with the clients, helping them get a real feel for the area," says Amanda.
With an abundance of sections and new subdivisions in Christchurch and the Canterbury region, things are only set to get busier for Amanda and the Landmark Homes team.
"Christchurch and the Canterbury region are fantastic places to build," says Amanda. "There are numerous perfect pockets of land in some of the region's top subdivisions, ready for someone's dream home to become a reality. We just opened our new Showhome which is a real showstopper, I love being able to show people through so they can see what’s possible when you build with us.”
