Above and beyond the call of duty...

My wife and I contracted Landmark to build our home in Hawke’s Bay while we were residing overseas in Malaysia. They were very attentive to our needs and personal requests, going over each detail of the interior and exterior to insure that the best choices were made. We were impressed with the entire team.  Annie was invaluable with decisions to the interior of the house.  Paul amended our plans to include our special requests.  John was a most-excellent project manager.  Neil, as construction manager, insured that our home was built to the proper specifications.  Maria and Abby kept all the paper work organized.   Dan, as owner of Landmark, kept the entire operation running smoothly and was conscious of keeping the build within our budget. Building a home while the client is not in country presents its own set of problems.  Yet Landmark was at all times professional in their dealings.  They provided up-to-date photos outlining the progression of the build.  We had conference calls when specific questions arose.  Email contact was prompt and continual. Landmark’s service did not end when the building did.  Dan has continued to keep us “in the loop”, visiting our site since the completion date, providing access to various contractors in our absence.  He has gone above and beyond the call of duty! Overall, we are delighted with the personalized service Landmark has provided and we are looking forward to living in our stunning Landmark Home.

Home Build – completed March 2010 

Exceeded our expectations...

 We spent a great deal of time meeting with different builders and building companies before choosing Landmark to build our home.  We were impressed with Dan’s knowledge around the process, materials and general advice around our design.  There was no ‘sales pressure’ unlike other building companies which provided further comfort.  The outcome is a home we are very proud of, that has been build to an exceptional standard of workmanship, at a very competitive overall price.  Dan and Maria we found excellent to deal with, ensuring any changes required were actions, no questions asked.  We were also very impressed with all staff at Landmark, including the sub-contractors we met during the building process.The next important aspect for us was the trust we held that the Landmark team would deliver a home to our expectations and to ‘put right’ anything that required changing along the way.  On both counts, Dan & Maria at Landmark exceeded these expectations and for these reasons we will be using Landmark if we build again and would not hesitate to provide our strongest recommendations to any potential home-builders that Landmark are the right team to us.

Home build – completed April 2010

A pleasure to build  During 2009, Landmark built an awesome home for me in Napier.  I chose to build with them because I was so impressed with their show home in Taradale.  From the outset the entire company was 100% professional and worked to a strict time limit.  The build was completed to the highest standards and the teams working in my home were always extremely reliable and flexible when I asked to make changes.  The finishes are superb and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience during the building of my home.Landmark is a wonderful company and it has been an absolute pleasure to build with them.  Their promises all came to fruition and I would highly recommend them and have done already!
